Suicidal Cake

You’re probably thinking I’ve never heard of a suicidal cake. We’ll  Let tell you the story: there’s a cake who just escape from insane asylum  and its out on the loose and  now whoever it meets it will take you prisoner and force you to eat it. Now that’s how the story goes right, at least that what I use to say; that’s what people still say to me. It made me eat it; it was just sitting there looking so good I just had to, it was asking for it.  Does that sound familiar?  Food has gone from something that is nutritious for our bodies and can be enjoyed to something that has a choke hold on our lives.

Imagine if I was to take your spouse, your children, your friends and replaced them all with robots.  Now at first things would seem odd but after a while you get use it. You would get to point in which you consider it normal.  Why wouldn’t you, they look like the real thing, act like the real think they even seem to even smell better. Yet there is no real relationship, No genuine love, No true emotions nothing more than you iPod programmed to tell you what you think you need to here. Just enough to help you get by, yet not what it could be with real people.

Now the thought of that probably horrifies most of us. Yet we seem to be ok with the fact that is what has happen to our food. REAL food has been replaced FAKE food and no matter what some may say it’s not the real thing. Instead of it providing real nutrition and genuine enjoyment, we have food addictions and lack of nutrition and all kinds of health problems.  Addictions to the FAKE stuff that make us think cake is suicidal. Cake, cookies, potato chips or whatever has you saying the words “it wanted me to kill it” “it was suicidal”.

We need to change the way we feel about food. We need to understand the difference between what real and what’s not. Let us not be entrapped by suicidal cake but take OWNERSHIP for what we put in our bodies. Remember EAT real food, MOVE, REST

Wow. It's Quiet Here...
