Stop Dating God......

Stop dating God. To know what this means let’s first take a look at what society calls dating

• You meet someone and then either you ask them out or they ask you out
• You put on your best outfit and think of the best place possible to go (looks and locations are everything)
• You hang out laugh at thinks that aren’t funny (like a care sales men put you best foot forward)
• You only reveal about 5% of who you really are(we think more than that and we scare them off)
• The relationship start to grown and you think I like them( and what I don’t like I can change)

Now I know that’s that short version but it part its true and that what we do with God. When the truth is it should look more like this.

• God calls you to Him
• He doesn’t care where you meet he just want to hang with you
• All of God s jokes are funny
• He knows a 100% about you and nothing you have done or will do can scare him off
• As the relationship grows you start to look more like Him

So when I say stop dating God I don’t mean stop having a relationship. Lets us rest in the freedom to not have to hide who we are or act like a sales person and hope God likes our sells pitch of what we think God might like. He loves you that’s why he sent his Son for you.
