iPhone 4 the 4am Wait in Line
So this morning I woke up at 3am to go stand in line for the new iPhone 4. You’re probally thinking that dumb or your crazy I’d never do that. You might even the person who was in line at 3am with me. yet what makes what I did seem even crazier is I didn’t get an iPhone. No they didn’t run out…………….I just was hanging out with friends who were getting one. Plus it never hurts to try something just once.
It was fun, I’m a little tired to say the least yet I’d do it again. So I thought I’d share some funny things I heard or tweets that went out this morning.
- “I promise to pay my child support……as soon as I get the new iPhone 4″
- “hey if you take my picture and tag me on Facebook I’m gonna charge you $20″
- the mall security guard wore his helmet the entire time even though he wasn’t even near his Segway
- “Steve Jobs got married the service was great but the reception was horrible”
- “so I see you didn’t pre-order iPhone 4 sorry to hear that, you wanna look at mine after I check out cause I’ll be done way before you”
So what are your thoughts, did you stand in line did you see or hear anything funny or interesting. Please share your thoughts and stories……………
As I am drinking Mt. Dew and snacking on food to stay awake at work right now, I supposed I can do some reflecting on my extra long morning.
- I was very impressed by the way Apple handled the situation. Very organized.
- It was Sweet of Apple to provide water, coffee and donuts!
- I wish the mall cops wouldn’t have kicked us out of the parking lot at 11pm and tell us we couldn’t park there until 3:50am. Later to find out there were like 50 people there at 1:30am. So we joined them.
- I was pleasantly surprised at how not-tired I was. It’s kicking in now!
- I love FaceTime!
- I bought the bumper case and like it so far.
- The finger prints are already driving me crazy.
- Michael is an iPhone owner for the first time… it’s fun to see him so excited!
- I haven’t decided if I’d do it again.
- But a great time was had! Good memories!
