I am not @scottwilliams; you are probably saying to yourself I know that. I know it too (i’m much taller than he is) but from time to time I have to remind myself that I am who God created me to be. See I noticed in my own life that it’s easy to get caught up in trying to be like someone in certain areas. I remember when I first started to Twitter and @scottwilliams had only a few followers like 3000(he’s got like 20,000 now) I was like I gotta catch him or when I first started blogging I was sure I could have as many readers as Bigisthenewsmall.com.
Then God had to check me on that. See God may want me to Twitter and blog but it doesn’t mean he has the same plan for me as he does Scott. God has a plan for each of us so if you’re called to be a pastor it doesn’t mean he has the same plan for you as Craig Groeschel or Mark Driscoll. Be who God called you to be not who he called someone else to be.
Disclaimer: Yes I do know Scott he is my boss, my mentor and my friend.
