Not for you to promote yourself- Not a replacement for what you’re doing at your church
- Not so you don’t have to engage with people face to face
- Not for you to lie to people (like ask for prayer request and not pray for them)
- Not for gossip
- Not your soapbox
- Not for you to be somebody you’re not
- Not a fad
- Not something to be done half-way
- Not something you want to ignore

Top 10 things we do with the Bible
- read it
- memorize it
- study it
- judge it
- listen to it
- debate it
- discuss it
- ignore it
- miss use it
10. think about it
Some of those are bad and some are good but the question we have to ask is do we obey it?
Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. James 1:22-24
