This past weekend I went and saw Avatar with my wife. The movie left me speechless. The special effects were unbelievable. This movie will definitely change how movies are made in the future and the expectation level people will have for movies.

Among all the great things in the movie, the one thing that stood out to me was the main character, Jake Sully who is played by Sam Worthington. Jake Sully puts in a ton of work day in and day out. All in an effort to learn how to be one of the Navi people.

This reminded me how much hard work we should put into our own Christian lives. As Christ followers we should be doing everything we can to be in tune with what God has for our lives. Paul tells us in 1 Timothy 4:6-10 that we should train in godliness.

If you have not seen the movie I encourage you to. I also want to encourage you to train hard in your walk with Christ and not just merely let things happen.
