While most of the time we assume people with amazing bodies are some of the healthiest and fittest people we know, this is not all ways true. Most people with amazing bodies put in way more hours of working out than the average person to look that way. The workouts they do are designed to sculpt their bodies. Now what they do might have start off, as a way of healthy lifestyle is now something a bit more extreme.
Yet that’s not what fit looks like. See for each person it’s different. Some may be skinner then others and some larger. For everyone it will vary, but most of the time its not what TVs ads and magazines will try to sell you as being fit. See being fit is not a specific look no matter what the media will try and tell you.
While you might come close to looking a certain way while getting fit, and enjoy the looks others give you, the look should never be the goal. If it is then you will do unfit things to just “look” fit. A look ,which many confuse with being fit, and give up on their fitness goals because they can’t achieve the look. As a fitness professional I’ve heard many people say I can’t look like that so I should give up on trying to be fit.
I encourage you not to confuse being fit with looking a certain way. As someone who has competed in fitness model shows and photo shoots, I can tell you the weeks leading up to the competition or shoot I may have looked like one of the fittest people around but I really wasn’t. It’s easy to blur the lines once your body starts to change. You take it the opposite of what it was before and soon you do un –fit things to look fit.
